The Bleeding Church is a prophetic narrative told through the voice of the Church herself, a once radiant bride adorned in purity, power, and divine fire, now wounded by compromise, stained by greed, and weakened by her dangerous romance with the world. Within these pages lies hope, hope for revival, restoration, and the return of the triumphant Church that Jesus promised.
She was not born in a cathedral of stone. No bells announced her coming. No kings sat waiting in silk and purple to welcome her birth. She came in secret, in an upper room, hidden away from the gaze of rulers and Pharisees. The room was filled with 120 trembling hearts, men and women who had walked with the Groom, men who once fled in fear but now waited with prayer. Suddenly the heavens tore open. A sound came like a rushing mighty wind (Acts 2:2). Tongues of fire sat upon each head. The bride was born in flame. She opened her eyes, and her first cry filled Jerusalem: “Repent, for the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off!” (Acts 2:38–39). Three thousand souls ran into her embrace that day, washed in water, sealed in fire. She had no palace, no treasury, no earthly army, yet she was more powerful than Rome. Her garments were white, washed in the blood of the Groom (Revelation 7:14). Her beauty was not outward but inward of holiness, love, and unity. They broke bread daily, prayed without ceasing, and had all things in common (Acts 2:42–47). Widows were fed, orphans were sheltered, the poor rejoiced, and the sick leaped at her touch. The demons trembled at her whisper. Chains fell at her songs. Even death bowed when she prayed. And the Groom looked from His throne and smiled, saying: “This is bone of My bone, flesh of My flesh… My Bride.” (Ephesians 5:30).
