1. About Bitsbuyz

Bitsbuyz is an online store offering books, including e-books and hard-copy books, and other physical or digital products. Effective Date: 27 August 2026.

2. Accounts & Sign-Up

You may create an account using normal sign-up or supported Google Sign-In. You agree to provide accurate information and keep your account credentials secure.

• You are responsible for activity through your account.
• Notify Bitsbuyz promptly about unauthorized account access.
• We may suspend accounts used fraudulently, unlawfully, or in breach of these Terms.

3. Products & Orders

We aim to keep product descriptions, prices, images, formats, and availability accurate, but minor errors or changes may occur. We may correct errors or withdraw products where necessary.

Placing an order is an offer to purchase. An order is accepted when Bitsbuyz confirms the order and/or successful payment, subject to availability and fulfilment.

• We may cancel unavailable, incorrectly priced, unverifiable, fraudulent, or impossible-to-fulfil orders.
• Where appropriate, amounts paid for cancelled orders will be refunded.

4. Prices & Payments

Prices are displayed in Nigerian Naira (NGN) unless otherwise stated. Delivery charges and applicable taxes may be added where applicable.

Payments are processed through third-party providers, including Paystack and Flutterwave where available. Payment-card details are intended to be handled by the payment provider rather than stored directly by Bitsbuyz.

• Payments may be declined, delayed, reversed, or reviewed by a provider, bank, or card issuer.
• Bitsbuyz will reasonably assist with transaction verification and payment support.

5. E-Books & Digital Products

Digital products may be delivered by download, customer account, email, or another method stated on the website.

Digital products are generally non-returnable after delivery except where applicable law requires otherwise or the digital product is defective or materially different from its description.

• Purchased digital content is for lawful personal use unless broader rights are expressly granted.
• Do not reproduce, redistribute, resell, publicly share, or commercially exploit digital content without the necessary rights.

6. Hard-Copy Books & Delivery

Hard-copy products are delivered to the address supplied by the customer. Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by courier operations, location, weather, public holidays, security conditions, incorrect address information, or events outside our reasonable control.

Customers should inspect deliveries promptly and report damage, incorrect items, missing items, or other fulfilment problems under the Return & Refund Policy.

7. Returns & Refunds

Returns, replacements, exchanges, and refunds are governed by the Bitsbuyz Return & Refund Policy. Mandatory consumer rights are not excluded.

8. Intellectual Property

The Bitsbuyz website, branding, logos, interface, text, graphics, software, and site content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Product content may belong to authors, publishers, manufacturers, or other rights holders.

• Do not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or commercially exploit protected content without authorization.

9. Prohibited Use

• Use the website for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or deceptive activity.
• Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, databases, APIs, or payment processes.
• Interfere with website operation or introduce malicious code.
• Use another person's identity or payment method without authorization.
• Scrape, copy, or commercially exploit website content without permission.

10. Third-Party Services

Bitsbuyz may rely on Google authentication, Paystack, Flutterwave, and other third-party services. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices.

11. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Bitsbuyz is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the website or products. Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

12. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are intended to be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. We encourage customers to contact Bitsbuyz first so disputes can be resolved in good faith. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
