Around the fire, in the marketplace, at the farm, or during festivals, lessons were sown into the soil of our souls. My father understood this, and he shaped me not through lectures but through stories, through parables, through the everyday happenings of life. He taught me that life must be value-driven, purpose-driven, and success-driven, not in the shallow sense of titles or riches, but in the deeper sense of integrity, meaning, and impact. Values are the roots that hold a man firm when the storms of life come. Without values, success becomes dangerous and fleeting. Purpose is the compass that gives direction. It answers the question: Why am I here? A life without purpose is like a traveller wandering endlessly in the desert. Success is the fruit, the evidence that your values and purpose have borne results that bless others. True success is not what you take from life, but what you leave behind on the sands of time.
